THANKSGIVING: Costume fee prices listed below under COSTUME INFORMATION
heading.
We have 2 recitals.
- One is an informal DAY OF THE ARTS. Students pay
a $20.00 Recital fee and there is no admission at the door. Our Day of the
Arts is like a big pep rally for all of our dancers. They can bring their
friends and family and have them watch their performance. They are only
required to come and dance and they can leave when they are finished their
dances.
- Our second recital, is a Formal Sit Down Dinner, where the students perform
after the dinner. The Little ones are a hit and the older ones provide us
with top entertainment. It is a very exciting time for everyone.
- Our rehearsal
is to learn our Finale. Our 3-5 combination classes do not
attend this while they learn their part in the classroom.
About 98% of our students participate in the recital. The self
confidence it builds as well as the friendships and memories lasts a lifetime.

REHEARSALS:
The purpose of our rehearsal is to
learn the finale. It is a lot of fun and a chance for the students to
experience the stage before performing.
Students must be dressed in proper
dance attire with hair up. NO COSTUMES. HAIR MUST BE UP! NO BANGS.
This rehearsal is well chaperoned.
There is someone at the door at all times and no one is permitted entrance
or exit during the rehearsal. Students are escorted to the bathrooms. For
security, we do not permit parents to stay at this rehearsal.
If for some reason you must be
present, you must see one of the ladies with a name tag, so we have an
accurate list of all adults present in the room.
Ages 3-5 year
old classes do not attend the rehearsal.
They do not participate in the rehearsal but
learn their finale dance in their classroom.
INFORMAL RECITAL:
This is a show. Full costume, come
dressed and ready to perform. Parents will be responsible to chaperone their
own child for the Informal Recital. We will not be providing a Chaperone for
this show.
When you arrive at the Informal see
the program order (This will be online as well), take students to the
designated performance ar ea 5 songs before they are
scheduled to perform and you will be directed inside to wait for
their teacher or teacher assistant to bring them
backstage. Pictures will also be taken and more
instruction will follow.
Students may leave after they
perfor m.
Please note that they should be
fully dressed and ready to perform when they arrive at the informal.
There will only be an area for students in multiple dances to change.
FORMAL RECITAL
ALL STUDENTS MUST EAT BEFORE THEY
COME TO THE RECITAL. Students are in a chaperoned room .
The door is open and a chaperone is
at the door. You can see your child from the door. We will bring the student
to you but we will not admit anyone but Chaperones into the room.
Thanks to all for your continued cooperation and assistance in this.

DISMISSAL FROM RECITAL: .
Dismissal: Will be announced. 3-5
Ballet/Tap/Creative Movement classes are dismissed from the downstairs (side of
stage). All other classes are dismissed by walking up the main stairs and turn
right to the balcony area. This will be announced at the end of the show as
well. Siblings will remain with us until parent arrives. Parent should pick up
youngest student first. Please do not send an Aunt, Uncle, Friend or other.
Dismissal runs much smoother if you or a parent the teacher will recognize comes
to the dismissal area.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you choose to be a part of our
recitals, you must attend both recital and rehearsal. This is a courtesy to
the other students and families. You may continue in your classes if you do
not choose to be a part of our recital program.. If you have chosen to sign
up for an M or MULTI recital class, please note that this is a MULTI based
solely on the students in the class and their siblings. This is the only
reason the class must participate in more than one recital, but they will
perform for only one rehearsal.
Please note that you may only
purchase tickets for the recital assigned to you. You may purchase tickets
for other recitals after all students scheduled for purchase have received
their tickets.
